Yoga for Anxiety — Slow, Somatic, Sustainable

Not a workout. Not a performance. A practice slow enough that your nervous system can actually feel the shift, and steady enough that the shift lasts.

How Yoga Calms an Activated Nervous System

The shapes matter less than the pace. Long exhales, gentle pressure through the hands and feet, eyes that get to soften — these tell the body there is nowhere to run from. Over weeks, the baseline of activation quietly drops. You sleep deeper. You catch yourself less reactive. You feel more like yourself.

A Gentle Sequence to Begin With

Five minutes is enough. Lie on your back with your knees bent, feet wide, knees falling together. Hand on belly, hand on chest. Ten slow breaths. Then a supported child's pose with your forehead resting on stacked fists. Then legs up a wall. End on your back, eyes closed, doing nothing on purpose for one full minute.

Yoga + Breath + Coaching — Why They Work Together

Yoga gives the body somewhere to land. Breath gives the nervous system a way home. Coaching gives the pattern language and a witness, so insight doesn't evaporate by Tuesday. The three together do something none of them quite manage alone.

Sessions are 1:1, online or in person, and built around what your body is asking for that week. No sequence is repeated until it's earned.
