The Approach

Coaching that begins one breath beneath the thinking mind.

01

The body keeps the score — and the wisdom

Anxiety, burnout and overwhelm aren't failures of mindset. They are signals from a nervous system asking for safety. We listen, and we do not judge.

02

Breath is the doorway

The vagus nerve responds to the exhale. A few minutes of slow, conscious breathing can move you from sympathetic activation into parasympathetic rest.

03

Slow is the new productive

Regulation is not a destination. It is a relationship — practised daily, in small, kind, repeatable doses.

A practice, right now

Physiological sigh.
Two in, one long out.

breathe

Two short inhales through the nose. One long, slow exhale through the mouth. Repeat three times. Notice the shoulders lower. This is your nervous system shifting gears — in under ninety seconds.

Ways to work together

Three doorways, all leading toward calm.

Portrait of Emily, yoga teacher and somatic coach

About

I'm Emily — somatic coach, yoga teacher, breath practitioner, recovering over-doer.

For over ten years I worked in rooms that never quite let me exhale. The work that finally changed me wasn't another framework — it was learning, slowly, how to breathe.

I now hold space for people who think too much, feel too much, and have been told to manage it. Together, we make room for the nervous system to soften so a more confident, authentic version of you has space to come forward.

"The longest distance you will travel is the one from your head to your breath."

Begin

A quiet, free 20-minute conversation. No pressure. Just a breath together.

Tell me a little about what you are carrying. I'll write back within two days, in plain words, from a calm place.
